Yesterday Boris announced the start of the economic fightback against the impact of Covid-19. With a series of bold announcements across the nation for, hospital buildings, new and revitalised school buildings, and launching a High Street fightback.
Locally, it is vital that this constituency is at the table securing these schemes.

Add to this the already announced £40million of Town Deals, High Street fund and Heritage Action Zones.
The bureaucracy of planning is also getting a shake up to enable housing and construction to increase.
This is an ambitious and bold move by the Government to level up constituencies like Workington who need to level up.
