Mark Jenkinson MP for Workington quizzed Defence Ministers in the chamber of the House of Commons.
He asked the Minister, Jonny Mercer MP about the Governments’ help with assisting Companies across a number of sectors to employ veterans who have left the armed forces.
Mark said: "There are a number of businesses in my constituency who employ veterans and I commend them for doing so. Veterans are often highly motivated and reliable employees and I see them as a huge asset to the workforce.
Their skills and discipline can be translated into beneficial skills in a variety of sectors and I am pleased that businesses such as Iggesund, James Walker and TSP Engineering who are based in Workington have an active policy of employing veterans."
