MARK Jenkinson MP has announced the winners of his Christmas card competition.
The judging panel received hundreds of colourful festive creations, making it as difficult as ever to choose the winning entries.
Mark met each of the winners to present to them their awards, and their designs will feature on his annual Christmas card to be delivered in the coming days.
He said: “The quality of the work was exceptional – and certainly helped me get into the Christmas spirit.
“The judging panel had their work cut out whittling it down to four from over 400 entries.
“It was great to meet each of the pupils to present to them their awards, and to congratulate them on their eye-catching Christmas card designs.
“I would also like to thank everyone who took part.”
The panel is pleased to announce the following winners for Mark Jenkinson’s Christmas Card Competition 2023: Eva from Our Lady and St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Maggie from Flimby Primary School, Michael from Oughterside Village in England, and Daisy from Holm Cultram Abbey Church of England Primary School.
Copies of each card have been presented to, signed by and photographed with the PM and Speaker.
They have also been sent to every MP, local councillor, school and town and parish council.
The cards have also been delivered to residents and businesses.
