I voted to control immigration, cut crime, and make things fairer for British people. Do you agree with me?
Local people know that a country only works if its borders are secure and its streets are safe.
And I'm on your side.
That's why I've spent the last five years using my vote in parliament to represent you.
I've voted to get control of our immigration system, cut illegal migration, introduce tough new laws, and make things fairer for British people.
And while we're starting to make progress, the truth is I've seen Labour MPs vote against every single effort to make our country more secure.
Labour MPs are wasting time by trying to block reforms to our asylum system. In fact, Keir Starmer has NEVER voted for a tougher asylum system. That's because Keir Starmer and Labour don't believe there's any problem at all.
I think Keir Starmer is wrong. But I want to know what YOU think.
While there's further to go, we are making progress.
We've recruited 20,000 extra police and given new powers to our Border Force, making it easier for them to remove people here illegally.
We've introduced tougher sentences for criminals, including life sentences for people smugglers, so we can actually tackle the gangs behind illegal immigration.
We've delivered a new Small Boats Operational Command in the Channel, with 700 staff dedicated to tackling the crossings. And we brought boat crossings down by a third between 2022 and 2023.
And, by the way, Labour fought us on every single one of these votes.
I know more needs to be done, like getting our Rwanda plan off the ground. But I also know that local people deserve an MP who's on their side, not an MP who tries to block their priorities.
